Static Drawdown Prop Firm

Your max loss line is fixed when you start and never moves up. Static drawdown on Classic, Sprint and Sprint Turbo. From $39.

Static Drawdown on Every Challenge

Every challenge Stampede sells uses static drawdown. Your max loss line is set in dollars on the day you start, and it never moves, however much the account grows. On a $100,000 Classic account the line sits at $90,000 from your first trade to your last.

The funded account you get when you pass uses the same static line. There is no trailing drawdown on Classic, Sprint or Sprint Turbo.

Sprint and Sprint Turbo also come in a $200,000 size, and every plan starts at $5,000. The line is always the same percentage of your starting balance. See pricing for every size and fee.

Static vs Trailing Drawdown

Where the line startsA fixed percentage below your starting balanceA fixed percentage below your starting balance
What happens when you make moneyNothing. The line stays where it startedThe line moves up behind your highest balance
Room to lose after a good runGrows with every dollar you makeStays about the same, because the line follows you

Here is the difference on a $100,000 Sprint. You grow the account to $108,000.

  • With Stampede's static drawdown, the max loss line is still $94,000. You have $14,000 of room.
  • With a 6% trailing drawdown measured from your highest balance, the line would have moved up to $101,520. You would have $6,480 of room.

Static drawdown means profit you make stays as extra room, not as a higher floor.

The Daily Loss Limit Works Differently

The daily loss limit is the one number that moves. It is measured from the balance you start each day with, and it resets at 00:00 UTC.

Take a $100,000 Classic account that ends a day at $105,000. The next day starts at $105,000, so the daily floor is 5% below that, which is $99,750. The max loss line stays at $90,000. Both apply at the same time, and whichever is higher is the one that stops you first. The full wording is on the rules page.

FAQ

Does Stampede use static or trailing drawdown? Static. Every challenge Stampede sells, and the funded account after it, uses a max loss line that is fixed when you start and never trails.

What is a static drawdown prop firm? A prop firm where the max loss limit is a fixed dollar amount set from your starting balance. It does not move up when your account grows, so profits add to your room instead of raising the floor.

Does my max loss line ever move up? No. On a $100,000 Classic account it is $90,000 on day one and still $90,000 after any amount of profit.

Is the daily loss limit static too? No. The daily limit is measured from the balance you start each day with and resets at 00:00 UTC. Only the max loss line is static.

Which Stampede plan has the most room? Classic, with a 10% max loss and a 5% daily loss limit. Sprint has 6% and 4%. Sprint Turbo has 3% and 3%.

Is there a consistency rule as well? No. Stampede has no consistency rule on any challenge or on the funded account.
